Let's give this blogging thing another try, says I. And let it begin with the place I go to forget what's going on in the real world.
My husband and I made this little beach cottage our own about 2 years ago.
The shore on the Long Beach peninsula in Washington state is wide open and often unoccupied, almost as far as the eye can see, allowing peaceful strolls with our terrier, Simon.
Peaceful, indeed.
